As of July 1, 2020, the eight 17th Street clinics have become part of this new organization, Valley Health Partners Community Health Center (VHP), with the intention of becoming designated as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) “Look-Alike” early next year. An FQHC Look-Alike receives enhanced federal reimbursement to expand core services such as comprehensive primary care, dental and mental health/substance abuse in addition to enabling services which include interpretation, transportation to appointments, and health education.
